Presidents Cup Update Well its that time in the season, the final few weeks when its serious for the Presidents cup – the most prestigious award for the club each year. This is the competition that anyone who paddles in Tuesday night nomination races can win. Each time you participate in a nomination race we keep your result safe, that is, the difference between your nominated time and your actual time on the night.  At the end of the year we add up your 10 lowest results and the paddler with the lowest total time wins the Presidents Cup. Tuesday 9th  September 2014 Jeff Stone won tonight's Nomination race and collects a Hoyts movie voucher.  Jeff was the recent winner of the Canning nomination race where he picked up a $500 Carbon Fibre Paddle.  As our President Steve Egger said he's on a roll - that makes him a "Rolling Stone" , Ho Ho Ho. CRCC Tuesday Club Nights Each week the CRCC runs a social paddle race focussing on healthy fun competition where anyone can win a movie voucher on the night.  We get all types of boats participating from short plastics to K1s and everything in between.  Our paddlers are similalry diverse from first time paddlers, retirees through to olympians.  $2 to enter is all it costs and we keep records of all your races on the website.  Courses range in distances of between 4km and 6km and races are one of three types; Nomination Race : Paddlers nominate the time they will complete...
