It was pizza night and they were delicious, and it was the first night in years where the winner was so far off his nominated time.  Tonight’s winner was Stuart Hyde who only managed to get to within 21 seconds of his nominated time. Tonight's winner was Jeff Stone who got to within 1 second of his nominated time, unlucky second was David Gardiner 3 seconds of his nominated time. 21 paddlers on the water this evening, low water, 780mm on the Gardiner water metre. It was the last paddle of the year with a free hot dog sizzle for members and a prize for the best dressed. There were many Christmas Santa hats and Hawaiian shirts but there was a clear winner, David Gardner decked his boat out with nothing less than a Christmas tree itself and wore a magnificent Christmas cardigan, check out the photos.
